Dear Legislative District 11 Constituent,

As your Republican candidate for State Representative for District 11, I pledge to you that I will never accept taxpayer dollars (a.k.a. Clean Elections money) for any part of my campaign. I do not believe in dipping into the public trough for personal gain.

As an elected official, I will not use taxpayer dollars to promote my career. I believe taxpayer dollars should only be used for essential public services—not to subsidize politicians. I encourage all candidates to join me in taking this pledge.

My Priorities

Fiscal Responsibility: Just like a household, government cannot spend more than it takes in.  We must solve the current crisis without adding new taxes to the burden of Arizona families.  Most importantly, we must learn from past mistakes by creating mechanisms to ensure fiscal responsibility in the future.

Enterprise: We must foster a climate in Arizona hospitable to enterprise and job creation -- especially small business owners who are the backbone of a vibrant economy.

Education: We cannot fulfill Arizona's bright potential without high quality education at every level. We must harness and promote 21st century technology, parental choice, and incentives for great teachers in order to deliver the best possible education to every child.

How can you help Team Bolick?

Team Bolick needs you, and these are ways in which you can help us win the Republican primary on August 24th:

  1. Social networking is helping to drive my campaign throughout District 11. Please become a fan of mine on Facebook at Friends of Shawnna Bolick for Arizona 2010.
  2. We will need a lot of volunteers throughout the duration of the campaign. If you have an hour or two to spare here and there it will go a long way. If you can join one of our walking parties, we would love to have your participation. In order to help us with this effort, you must be qualified to register to vote in the State of Arizona-- it does not matter what your political party affiliation is. Team Bolick was charged in collecting over 450+ Republican and Independent signatures, and on May 25th we submitted 809 signatures in order to qualify for the Republican primary ballot. Thank you for making this possible.
  3. Putting a sign in your yard is great way to show your support. We'll deliver a yard sign right to your door. Click on the image below to get started.
  4. If you are interested in hosting a meet and greet at your home, or interested in having Shawnna speak at an upcoming candidate forum, please send an invitation to info@BolickforArizona.com.
  5. I am running a traditional fundraising campaign (unlike two of my opponents who are taking government subsidies to run their race), and would greatly appreciate any donation. During each election cycle, individuals who are running traditional may accept up to $410 per person. If you can give $5 or $410, any donation is greatly appreciated.
  6. If you do not live in District 11, but have friends who are potential constituents, please connect me to them. This will help build my base one friend at a time.
